Melissa Caviezel received her Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2003. Since then, she has practiced outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. She is certified as an Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) and a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT). through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Areas of interest include spinal and sacroiliac dysfunction, sport rehabilitation, post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation, and movement pattern re-education to treat repetitive trauma/overuse syndromes. Melissa's treatment approach combines manual therapy, postural and movement re-education, core stabilization, and functional strengthening. Strong emphasis is placed on education and providing the patient with tools that will allow them to obtain their goals and continue to be successful at home.
